What are the elements to be considered in office design?
Office design is asked for more often than it used to be. Search results for “what to watch in office design” usually put a style board first. This article does the reverse: the client’s work first, then the product. A useful reply does not come from guessing taste; it comes from a brief and a room layout written at survey.
Finding Products for an Office Plan
Products are chosen after the survey note. Walking a catalogue before the brief and room layout lock only inflates the window. Research can happen on a sample or on a screen; the aim is a short list that fits the work, not a wide display.
Prefer pieces used all day and kept in repair over show pieces. Detail that supports posture keeps the room calm; the day’s flow feeds on that. Drawing is there to make a work area those pieces fit — not to claim luxury.

Lighting, Accessories and Wall Colour
Light is as early as product in an office plan. Balanced daylight and lamps carry the team’s pace; glare on a screen reverses it. Accessories stay in the room only if they keep comfort and do not pull focus. There is no single “everyone’s wish” list; it is written at survey.
Wall colour can set an open ground; a light, clear palette reads the room as larger. Unrelated colours cut concentration. That is a criterion, not a fashion line.
Do not read a studio through a ranking sentence; see how to read an interior-architecture firm. Light is opened in natural light in the office.
