In this project, we placed the psychological impact of colors at the heart of the design. The emerald green velvet sofa, which serves as the living room’s focal point, creates a striking contrast with the neutral gray wall panels, lending the space a strong sense of character. While the wainscoting details on the walls provide a classic foundation, the brass-detailed “Sputnik” chandeliers infuse the space with a retro-modern glow. Completed with houndstooth-patterned throw pillows and furniture, this design demonstrates how textures can come together to create a sense of rhythm.
