Lighting holds a large place in an executive room or office design. In a suite, light — like furniture and colour — also works on motivation and output. The lighting of an executive room can change the atmosphere of the whole floor. Lighting selection for executive-room decoration should be made with every element on one list.

The fitting that will carry the light changes with the language of the room. Quieter, more considered tools are looked at in modern designs; larger chandeliers are chosen in a classic and luxury register. Support from an interior architect on the survey earns its keep for that split.

How Should Lighting Be in Executive Rooms?

Lighting choice should first fit the design and language of the room. If the room is modern, fittings are looked at in that register. In a classic suite, different chandelier and light options earn their keep. What has to hold in all of them is that the light spreads through the whole room. Light left on one side dulls the illumination and breaks the atmosphere.

As Umut GÜRLER Interior Architecture - Ankara Interior Architecture we write the lighting on the survey, against desk position and the planes that glare. A layout that reaches every part of the room holds the working rhythm — a plan that holds, not a claim that one light is the most productive.

Used correctly, fittings also affect the firm’s stance. They are placed with an eye on reflection in the office. They also have to fit where the desks sit.

What Should the Fitting Be?

Fittings in an executive room change with taste and style. In a quieter, narrower suite, smaller spots may be looked at. In a modern executive area, more colourful, current fittings can be used. In a larger, classic room, small lights alone will not do; a larger, elegant chandelier earns its keep. If wanted, light is supported with a chosen accessory.
