5 Examples of Minimalist Meeting Rooms

As screens multiplied, visual noise grew; that is one reason a plain office is discussed more often. A floor with fewer objects can look current and still be a place to concentrate. The line is especially useful in the meeting room, where a team gathers at a table or receives a guest. Below are five meeting-room types — readings by use, not named projects.

Why a Minimalist Meeting Room?

Minimalism moved from an art line into how people live and work. A plain room often reads as quality; an effortless stance also makes the brand easier to read. That does not mean every plain room is expensive. In the room a visitor enters, less clutter is enough.

Work starts by removing what you do not need. Colour does not have to be white only; a pastel, coherent palette is enough. Bright tones that sit far apart will break the simplicity.

The meeting table is the spine of the room. Linear, useful, matt or a warm timber if you can. Cables and sockets should hide inside the table. A made-to-measure top is more comfortable in the long run than a ready one.

Five plain types can be read as follows:

  • Open team table — sliding storage, covers that work as pinboards, café-warm timber.
  • Closed board room — few chairs, one large table, one work on the wall.
  • Short huddle — four people, sit or stand, screen concealed.
  • Hybrid room — a calm backdrop for camera and sound, no loose cable.
  • Library quiet — shelves, lower light, silence for long conversations.

Help for a Plain Meeting Room

If table, light and wall are not decided together, the room scatters again. Umut Gürler Interior Architecture — Ankara Interior Architecture keeps that list in one process from survey to handover. If you are set on a minimalist line, the process starts with a survey.
