How the Work Is Done

Making an interior both usable and pleasant is a sequence, not a single sketch. The first step is to name the client's needs and the project's goals. Then the existing space and floor plans are checked, a concept is set, and design begins. Other trades join at this point so the room layout has the right team behind it.

After a preliminary budget, the first concept is presented and decisions are taken together. Room layout and furniture plans are then fixed, materials are chosen, and the budget is closed. When legal steps and final approval are complete, construction can start.

The aim at the end of design is a project that meets aesthetic, practical and economic tests. Aesthetic means form, material, texture, colour and workmanship. Practical means the room does its job. Economic means the real cost of material, labour, upkeep and logistics. Function comes first: the user should fit the room physically and in daily use.

Construction Drawings and Site Management

The construction set includes floor, wall and ceiling plans, mechanical and electrical drawings, sections, elevations, perspectives, and furniture and joinery details. Once those details are agreed, the site opens.
