Sustainable Environment Policy
Last Update: 15/03/2022
Umut GURLER Interior Design acts within the framework of a sustainable environmental policy in all processes of its work. This stance stems from our respect for the environment, all resources provided by the environment, and all other living beings with whom we share the same universe.
Adhering to existing regulations and legislation, we use the most environmentally compatible materials and technology within the possibilities provided by project budgets. By taking new measures and making improvements in every different project we work on, we encourage our entire team to conduct research on this subject. In this way, we create an environmental perspective that constantly improves itself.
Our Objectives
- Compliance with Laws and Legislation In the projects it undertakes, Umut GURLER Interior Design examines the legal environmental legislation and takes maximum care to fulfill all sanctions.
- Protecting Natural Resources We create the division of labor and schedule in all our construction sites based on energy efficiency and the principle of 'how to use natural resources most efficiently'. We pay maximum attention to preventing waste in resources such as water and electricity.
- Controlling Solid and Hazardous Wastes We keep the effects on the environment at a minimum level by keeping hazardous wastes that may occur in the projects carried out and in the settlements under our responsibility under control. In addition, we ensure the shipment of recyclable wastes to the necessary institutions and organizations.
- Awareness and Participation In addition to raising awareness among our own employees and all subcontractors we work with about the environment, we ensure the protection of the environment and the creation of awareness on this issue by acting in cooperation with employers, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
- Prevention of Environmental Pollution With the systems and methods applied, we eliminate or minimize pollution risks that may negatively affect the environment. In this way, we prevent the spread of potential pollution.
